Vatnaskil Land & Water Resource Consultants Ltd (VLWRC) was founded in 1979 as Land & Water Resource Consultants Ltd (LWRC) and is one of the oldest specialist hydrogeological and hydrological consultancies in the UK. Since 1989 Land & Water Resource Consultants has worked closely with Vatnaskil Consulting Engineers in the UK to provide numerical analyses and modelling solutions to environmental and hydrological problems. In 2008 the two companies formally came together through our parent company Mannvit Engineering and the company name was changed to Vatnaskil Land & Water Resource Consultants Ltd to reflect this.
In the thirty years of the company’s existence we have worked for a wide variety of clients in private industry, in agriculture and for government organisations. Over 700 investigations and contracts have been undertaken for the water, chemical and food and drink processing industries. Over 250 contracts have been completed for government organisations and the environmental regulator. We have worked throughout the UK and in the Middle East, Far East and Africa.
Our staff expertise focuses on skills in hydrology, hydrogeology, water engineering, meteorology, geology and physics.
